With credits ranging from The People's Princess and Jonathan Demme’s Talking Heads film, Stop Making Sense to the recent “second screen”, App, Julie Delaney has been at the forefront of worldwide film and TV sales for 23 years.

Julie is Director of Worldwide Distribution at Starline Entertainment the London based, Film, TV and Digital, Worldwide Sales, Financing and Production Company.

Having headed worldwide sales at High Point, she was responsible for establishing the company’s TV division, pre-selling in excess of 25 BBC prime time movies, starring such names as James McAvoy, Martin Freeman, Rufus Sewell and Damien Lewis, as well as hit drama series, Matrioshki 1 & 2, which she presold to around 60 territories worldwide, including to Fox UK, its first ever non-English language acquisition. Besides drama, Julie is widely experienced in handling global sales for lifestyle, documentary, animation and family programming. She enjoys solid relationships with broadcasters all over the world, selling to and distributing the in-house productions of networks including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, RTE, SABC and TV Polska.

On the film side, Julie raised substantial production funding pre-selling Stephen King’s The Night Flier, and sold worldwide numerous commercially successful films, including Oscar nominated Twin Sisters, Cannes selected Cameraman: The Life and Work of Jack Cardiff to name a few. Working with some of the most successful film makers from all over the world, she represented Chris Blackwell's Palm Pictures, selling such cult titles as Razor Blade Smile, adult animated series, The Many Lives Of Norman Spittal, many music driven titles, including the Jamaican classics, Third World Cop and Thicker Than Water. She continues to sell George A Romero & Dario Argento's Zombie Dawn Of The Dead.

Recognised as a leading voice within the Film and TV industries, Julie has sat on the boards of the BTDA and Film Export UK. She is a member of the RTS
