Starline Entertainment has appointed Anna Brunelli to the newly created role of sales and acquisitions executive.  Fluent in Italian, French and English, she has previously worked stints in Rome for Gabriele Albanesi Productions and A-Pictures, as well as in Paris at Les Films du Requin. At Starline she will be handling TV and digital sales to southern Europe and Latin America.

Another addition to the team is new marketing executive Tanya Lopes, who is bilingual in English and Portuguese. Lopes began at High Point films, before working in marketing outside of the film and television industry. At Starline, Tanya is responsible for the company’s arrangements for film and television markets and for all marketing materials.

Partner and director of worldwide distribution Julie Delaney said, “With her extensive experience and contacts across southern Europe and Latin America, Anna has really hit the ground running, while Tanya’s marketing savvy and knowledge of social media is invaluable.”

Piers Nightingale, partner and director of acquisitions, added, “Both Anna and Tanya bring individual skills to Starline and will be dynamic assets to the team.”

Starline recently teamed up with Picturehouse CinemasDocHouseICA and Home Manchester to release Gerry Fox’s feature documentary Marc Quinn: Making Waves in the UK using an event-orientated distribution model.
