With fans like Elton John. Tommy Hilfiger and Lionel Ritchie, artist Marc Quinn is an international superstar, known the world over for arresting work that includes a series of self portraits made from his own blood and the enormous Trafalgar Square sculpture, Alison Lapper Pregnant.

Through the lens of director, Gerry Fox, we follow Marc from London to New York to Venice to Istanbul to Hong Kong, for a year packed with exhibitions; and we see how the ideas in his head grow into solid works.
